Since  1986, Give Kids the World has been fulfilling the wishes of children with the intention to "provide magical experiences with a vacation that means the world to children with life-threatening illnesses and their families."

According to their website, since 1986, more than 143,000 children and families have had "their dreams fulfilled in a whimsical Village unlike any other place on earth."

With approximately 27,000 children in the United States being diagnosed with a life-threatening illness each year, the need for GKTW grew and the best option was to expand as well.

What started as a service to take ill children to Orlando's Theme Parks is now a 79-acre resort with over 140 villa accommodations. Give Kids The World Village provides children and their families accommodations in fully-furnished villas, transportation, tickets to theme parks, meals, daily entertainment and much more.

The international Association  of Amusement Parks and Attractions --an organization that's mission is to serve the membership by promoting safe operations, global development, professional growth, and commercial success of the amusements parks and attractions industry-- is proudly partnered with Give Kids the World.

Between the GLTH Village to IAAPA's World Passport for kids, families are sent on unforgettable vacations. River Riders has had the pleasure of attending IAAPA conferences in the past. These conventions offered educational experiences that we could never forget!

River Riders' mission is to provide remarkable experiences. We get people closer to nature, get them out of old comfort zones, and provide educational experiences. When guests leave our facility, we want them to leave with a sense of accomplishment and confidence.

It isn't difficult to understand why River Riders made the decision to be a supporter of Give Kids the World nearly 5 years ago!
